EYECON 2023 has its theme as “The Future of Learning: Technology in Early Years Education” EYECON shall feature activities not limited to the following:

I am Mujibat Akorede, a highly accomplished educationist, school administrator, teacher training, author of children's books and educational consultant. I have made significant contributions to the field of early childhood and primary education through the establishment of daycare, nursery, primary and high school with over 400 students and 70 staff members. I have passion for education and have dedicated my life to improving access to quality reading program (phonics instructions) for children whose parent cannot afford good schools with high quality program for their children.
I had my undergraduate education in Business Administration from Kwara State Polytechnic and then crossed to the field of education with Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from prestigious National Teachers' Institute, Kaduna in Nigeria, and then went on to obtain my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kwara State University, Malete, Nigeria. My academic qualifications have provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in the field of education.
My professional career began as a teacher in 1999, and I was motivated towards learning more about how children develop and learn. I have since worked in a variety of educational roles, such as class teacher, supervisor, school administrator and educational consultant. In each of these roles, I have used my expertise and experience to improve the quality of education for students, teachers, head of schools and school owners.
I have authored books for children such as Foundation Phonics books, Foundation Cursive Writing Books, My Nursery Letter Book and My Nursery Number Book. I have created online certificate course for teachers who are novice in the field of early childhood education tagged Certificate in Early Childhood Education (CECE) and I have also initiated annual conference known as Early Years Educators' Conference in Nigeria (EYECON).
My research interest covers childhood studies, creative learning, authentic assessment, child development and learning.

He holds a PGD in education and is rounding off is M.Ed in Guidance and counselling.
He currently serves as the director of studies at Offsprings Ilm School, Ilorin.

EYECON 2021 has its theme as “The practical approach to Early Childhood Curriculum.” EYECON shall feature activities not limited to the following:
- Early Years Education and Development Appropriate Practices;
- The Practical Guide to Problem Solving and Mathematics in Early Years;
- Pre-writing and Writing Skills in Early Years;
- The Practical Approach to Authentic Assessment in Early Years
- Language and Literacy Development in Early Years;
The goals behind this conference is to upgrade the standard of teachings of hundreds of Nigerian nursery and primary school educators. They will be equipped with relevant knowledge, skills and resources needed to facilitate the growth and development of nursery and primary schools in Nigeria.
The registration fee for individual participant is N5,000, while group registration for 5 participants is discounted for N22,500.
There’s 10% discount for early bird registration and it closes on the 20th May, 2021.

Early Years Educators’ Conference in Nigeria EYECON shall be handled by rich gathering of 7 speakers who combine relevant academic qualification with practical and related experience. These speakers are practitioners and researchers in early years education practice for decades.
Free Nursery Books will be given to participants free of charge. Suppliers of early years educational products shall be on ground to showcase their products and services for your need.
Come with your facemask and face shield. Jotting materials will be provided at the registration point.
Each participant can make his/her accommodation arrangement. The organizers can also help you make accommodation arrangement at a close proximity to University of Ilorin. Kindly indicate if you are interested so as to effect booking arrangement early enough.
